Summer Update

I like the summer. It's usually quiet around campus and I get to leave work when the sun is still out, which is weird. I get to read more and it's usually nice enough to spend some time outside. I am looking forward to this summer, I have no big travel plans, but it should still be a good summer. Here are a few updates from my life:

• I get to see my nephews this weekend and I am really excited about it. Supposedly Tyler is crawling now, and so it should be fun to hang out with them for a little while.
• I started playing softball with a few friends of mine, and it has been a lot of fun. Our team has not won a game so far, but I am hitting .636 (7-11) with 15 RBIs. I am enjoying playing and haven't hurt myself yet, so that's a plus!
• I have been to three concerts in the past two weeks and expect to write a more in-depth review of them soon, but they have all been great! Plus, rumor has it that the Counting Crows will be playing in Austin sometime soon, which would make my summer.
• My insomnia seems to have gotten worse. For the past week I haven't been able to get to sleep before 4am, which has caused me to be very tired at work. I don't know what it is that has made it worse, but I hope it gets better soon.
